Hannah came to us looking to primarily reduce her body fat. She had been an avid gym goer for years, doing up to 6 circuit training classes a week, every week, but seeing very little change in her body composition. She decided that it was time to do something about this.
We started by implementing a full body workout program 3 days a week, making sure that she was being challenged in a different way that circuit classes can’t achieve. In addition to this, we brought the circuit training classes down to maximum 2x a week - she didn’t want to give them up entirely!
In terms of food, we increased her protein intake and ensured that a lean protein source was the heart of each meal. This, alongside the reduction in cardio classes, meant that Hannah was more far more energised and performed better in her workouts.
Finally, we set a daily step target for Hannah. Rain or shine, every lunch break Hannah made sure she completed her steps! By ensuring that her workouts, food and steps were all on track each week, Hannah managed to lose over 15lbs in her first 12 weeks.
